本场比赛上田绮世为色拉格布鲁日首发出战，圣图尔登方面冈崎慎司、丹尼尔-施密特、林大地首发出战，桥冈大树替补，香川真司则因伤缺席。全场比赛唯一进球出现在比赛第69分钟，上田绮世在注意到队友的过顶球后心领神会，扛住两名后卫的围追堵截后一脚推射，皮球径直滚入球门左下角。
这是上田绮世本赛季取得的第8个进球，其中球员已连续两场进球，近4轮联赛打进4球，相对于赛季初期的低迷，球员正逐渐找到状态。本场比赛是世界杯前比甲联赛最后一场比赛，这之后上田绮世将与日本国家队汇合，备战即将到来的卡塔尔世界杯。
